Dreams of the Past

She required every ounce of energy and patience and love and understanding, and that irony is not lost on me. Representing all the dreams of my past that at the time I desperately hoped would come to life. Those dreams are not mine anymore. They belong to someone else. They haunt another persons sleep but not mine. However, they helped shape the person I am today and for that they need to be acknowledged, even if it’s on the walls of an art gallery.
