Surrounded by so many people and yet the feeling of being alone still enveloped me. It didn’t matter where I was, in my mind I was in a deserted place with no one around. I didn’t hate it, but sometimes I didn’t really like it either. It was like screaming into a void but also overwhelmed by the beauty of silence and the peace it brought. I still visit this place in my mind when I need to get away. It’s a place I only know. Perhaps you have one too.
